Her father Steve Irwin tragically died in September 2006 at the age of 44, after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming a wildlife documentary in Batt Reef, Queensland.

And several years after his death, his daughter Bindi, 22, revealed how she really felt about the creature responsible for his death.

In a resurfaced interview with the late Larry King, the Wildlife Warrior admitted that she holds no resentments towards stingrays.

‘I don’t, I honestly don’t… It was just a crazy accident that happened,’ she said.

‘Stingrays are really beautiful animals. Dad loved them, we love them and they are important to our environment. And I know dad would be the first person to say “I love stingrays”.’

However, When Larry asked if there was an animal that Bindi doesn’t like, the brunette gave quite a surprising response.
