Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, was fatally gunned down by Louisville Metro police March 13, 2020 after they raided the wrong home.

The police said they were seeking to arrest a drug dealer but no drugs were found on the premises, and no one was arrested in connection with the killing; police officer Brett Hankison received a wanton endangerment charge in connection with shooting his gun into Taylor’s neighbor’s apartment.

Many on Twitter joined the Umbrella vocalist with equal vitriol for the A.G. for his actions in the case, which brought a national spotlight on racial discrimination and police brutality.

One wrote, ‘You mean Black women like Breonna Taylor who dedicated her life to saving others as an EMT only to be gunned down by the police while she slept in her home & then denied justice by YOU in the aftermath? Your entry in history will never be Black excellence, & I hope you know it.’

Another person said, ‘You knew when you recorded and posted this disingenuous video people would come after you so you could do the “damned if I do, dammed if I don’t” bit.

‘This is as useful as a wooden nickel. You should’ve sat this out. History will not be kind to you.’

One added, ‘BREONNA TAYLOR DESERVED BETTER … I’m sick of folks like you who will do everything in their power to NOT be an ally to black people but want to come out on special occasions to pretend to be one. You were better off sitting this one out.’
