Xzibit’s wife Krista Joiner files for divorce in LA … as pair have been wed more than six years and linked for 20
Xzibit is headed to divorce court, as his wife Krista Joiner has filed for divorce from the rapper in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Joiner put in the filing for a split from the Detroit-born rapper, 46, on Monday, according to TMZ.
The Pimp My Ride star and Joiner, who have been linked since 2001, tied the knot in November of 2014 near Laguna Beach, California with a bash at the St. Regis Monarch Beach in nearby Dana Point.

He was arrested in connection with DUI the following day, the outlet reported, adding that he had later pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, as his BAC was .14, almost double what was allowed by the law.
They are parents to two sons, tragically losing Xavier in May 2008 11 days after he was born premature; and son Gatlyn, 10. Xzibit is father to a son named Tremaine Joiner from a previous romance.
The rapper’s earlier career was built on hits such as Paparazzi, What U See Is What U Get and X, and his profile raised when he hosted the MTV hit Pimp My Ride, which saw the restoration of vehicles in innovative, expensive ways.
‘It was kind of a tough thing for me because it was taking up so much time,’ he told REVOLT TV. ‘I wasn’t able to tour, I wasn’t able to records albums. I was there filming, filming, filming.’

The split is the latest in a series of high-profile breakups in the music industry, with Kim Kardashian filing to divorce Kanye West earlier this week, and Dr. Dre and estranged wife Nicole Young continue battling in court over how their assets will be divided after she filed for a split last summer.
