MAFS Davina Rankin continues to distance herself from ‘villain’ portrayal with children’s book

Married At First Sight’s Davina Rankin distances herself from her ‘villain’ portrayal as her first children’s book sells out in just two weeks

Davina Rankin outraged viewers in 2018 when she ‘cheated’ on her husband Ryan Gallagher with Dean Wells on Married At First Sight.

But unlike many of the franchise’s other controversial stars, the 29-year-old has successfully distanced herself from her ‘villain’ portrayal.

As another season of MAFS premiered this week, Davina celebrated the success of her first children’s book dedicated to her one-year-old daughter, Mila-Mae.

In less than two weeks of its initial release, Davina had completely sold out of copies online and thanked fans and followers for their support.

‘⁣The photos, videos and your stories have just been melting my heart. I knew [the book] was very special to us, but to see that it’s also special to your family is more than I could have ever asked for,’ she said.

On Monday, she also promised to order ‘four times the amount of stock’ for her next release so more people could purchase the book.

She also hinted that a second book was already in the works.

Davina has kept out of trouble since her season of MAFS ended in 2018, while many of her former co-stars have been plagued by scandal.

The model and entrepreneur has since claimed that her villainous portrayal on the show was a mixture of bad editing and producer interference.

‘To be honest, MAFS is just a load of bulls**t, it’s not this pretty little fairy tale that the public thinks it is,’ she said in an interview with Daily Mail Australia in 2019.

This season of MAFS continues on Wednesday from 7:30pm on Nine
