An insider told US Weekly that the songstress hasn’t had a ‘set schedule’ with her boys in the years since the legal change, but that they have a great relationship.

‘It’s nothing against Britney; they love and idolize her, and Kevin trusts her,’ the source said. ‘It’s just that they’re getting older, so when they’re not at their main home with Kevin, they’re usually out doing things with friends.’

The source continued: ‘They spend most of their time at their dad’s house and have very few visits with their mom, especially overnight ones … they are teenagers now and want to be with their friends, not their parents.’

The boys are also ‘aware’ of the ongoing #FreeBritney effort of fans in her conservatorship court battle against her father, Jamie, who they ‘do not get along’ with.

Spears has been in the limelight as of late amid the release of an unauthorized Hulu documentary titled Framing Britney Spears, examining the singer’s career, conservatorship and portrayal in the media.
