Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins blocked his Bachelor ex Brooke Blurton on social media after she said she ‘dodged a bullet’ following her relationship with the rugby player

She gave up her chance of finding love with Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins during his season of The Bachelor

And on Tuesday, Brooke Blurton revealed that several years later the rugby player blocked her from social media.   

Appearing on fellow Bachelor alum Abbie Chatfield’s podcast, It’s A Lot, the 26-year-old explained that it all happened after the Honey Badger, 33, shared an Australia Day post earlier this year.  

No communication: On Tuesday, Brooke Blurton revealed that Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins blocked her from social media

‘My friend wrote on his Australia Day post being like, “aren’t you glad that you dodged a bullet,” and I wrote #oath, and he just blocked me,’ the Aboriginal reality star said. 

The post in question featured the Honey Badger standing on a beach with a dingo in the background. 

‘I believe the most important part of Australia day is that together as Aussies we celebrate our country in our style,’ he captioned the post.

‘Our indigenous have a point, let’s change the flamin’ date and move forward. If we are divided we are weak.’  

He then went on to suggest some alternative dates writing: ‘I do like #may8 (m8) or #ausday30th’.  

January 26 is recognised by many Indigenous people as a day of mourning as it marked the arrival of British colonisers.

Brooke was the first Indigenous finalist the Channel Ten dating series, and quickly became a fan favourite.  

Despite her strong connection with the Honey Badger, Brooke walked out in the hometown round. 

Nick was left with Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman, but infamously did not choose either beauty.
