Gogglebox Australia stars react to MAFS groom Bryce Ruthven’s ‘honesty’ with Melissa Rawson

Bryce Ruthven left ‘wife’ Melissa Rawson in tears on Married At First Sight last week when he told her she ‘wasn’t his type’.

And on Thursday, the cast of Channel 10’s Gogglebox didn’t hold back in giving the outspoken Married At First Sight star a serve. 

During the episode, the cast were shown footage of Bryce and Melissa delving into the infamous MAFS’s honesty box – which put them all on tenterhooks. 

The scene began with Melissa asking Bryce: ‘Am I your usual type?’ 

After taking a moment to think, Bryce replied, ‘I’ll be completely honest. Not 100 per cent.’ 

It was enough to send the cast of Gogglebox into a rage. 

Kerry Silbery screeched in horror, ‘Don’t tell her that.’ 

Former former bank teller Lee was just as bamboozled by Bryce’s tactless response when she quipped, ‘Oh, Jesus. Dig the hole, mate.’

Meanwhile, newcomers Milo and Nic agreed it was the best time for Bryce to be completely honest with Melissa.

And things went from bad to worse when Bryce continued outlining what he usually finds attractive in a women. 

‘I’ve always gone for the blonde hair, blue eyes, tanned kind of girl, and someone that’s, like, usually taller,’ he added. 

At that point, Lee couldn’t contain her frustration at what she was hearing. 

‘Oh, p*ss off, Bryce,’ she snapped.

Meanwhile, Milo appeared angered by Bryce’s comments, yelling: ‘You are a d**k!’ 

The rest of the cast appeared to be just as taken aback by Bryce’s attitude.

‘I thought he was so nice. He’s a douche,’ added Isabelle Silbery. 

Gogglebox airs Wednesday at 7.30pm on Foxtel’s Lifestyle and Thursday at 8.30pm on Channel Ten
