Former Married At First Sight star Jessika Power has weighed in on the controversial rating of women during this season of the Channel Nine experiment.
The blonde bombshell, who was one of the headline-grabbing brides of the show back in 2019, showed her support for Melissa Rawson after her ‘husband’ Bryce Ruthven rated her the ‘fourth hottest’ in the group this year.
Jessika called the moment between Melissa and Bryce ‘disgusting’ as she shared clips of the heartbreaking scene.

‘This is actually disgusting, I feel,’ she said in the Instagram Story video, before asking her boyfriend, rapper Filip Poznanovic, if he felt bad for her.
Filip said that ‘morally’ Bryce should have ranked Melissa first, but added that the groom should be exempt if the aim of the task was to be honest.
‘Obviously she’s hurt, she’s gorgeous and she was already made to feel shit on their honeymoon because he said “you’re not my usual type”.’ Jessika said.

‘I feel like there’s a lot of this going around this season of the show, but that’s okay. I mean that’s just honesty.
‘But the poor thing, she’s f***ing crying babe,’ she added.
Later in the clip, Jessika shared the scene where Melissa placed her groom at the top of her ‘hot list’, and said she was a ‘good woman’ for putting her husband first.

As he laid out all the female participants’ photos, Bryce asked Melissa if she was ‘noticing a theme’ of blonde and tanned women.
‘I don’t even know what to say… Fourth? You don’t even get a medal for that. Big kick in the guts,’ she added.

As Melissa grew teary alongside him on the couch in their new apartment, Bryce told her he didn’t ‘mean to offend’ her.
He explained that he was looking at the task as if he was ‘out in a bar’, and judging women based solely on their appearance.
Bryce then swept the other women’s photos onto the floor before gathering them all up and throwing them into the bin.
He then pulled Melissa into a hug and tried to console her, urging her not ‘think too much into it’.
