Gigi Hadid unveils ‘strawberry blonde locks’ on social media

She is known for her signature golden tresses. 

And Gigi Hadid debuted her new strawberry blonde locks, thanks to an apparent Instagram Filter on Sunday, as she spent the day at home. 

The supermodel, 25, worked her best angles in a series of stunning selfies posted to her social media account. 

She tucked pastel blue clips into her transformed locks which complemented her bright blue eyes. 

Gigi decorated her neck with a gold necklace while sporting a black knitted jumper. 

The new mother enhanced her visage with natural make-up as she captioned her Instagram upload with a strawberry emoji. 

Earlier in March, Gigi firmly cemented her status as a supermodel as she returned to the runway, five months after giving birth to her daughter, Khai.

The fashionista stormed the catwalk at Versace’s Milan Fashion Week autumn/ winter 2021 showcase alongside her younger sister Bella, 24, with the virtual pre-recorded show released on YouTube. 

The fashion forward show was recorded on March 1 in the Italian city at the Milan Congress Center and released online on Friday, with the models since jetting off to other locations across the globe.

Rocking a ginger wig, Gigi showed off her incredible post-partum figure in a sheer chiffon dress which was emblazoned with Italian designer’s signature Greca motif. 

The top half of the dress clung to Gigi’s slender figure before it billowed out in a floor length skirt that came complete with a sexy thigh-high slit and dramatic train which Gigi flicked into the air when the camera was on her.

The American beauty appeared in her element as she strutted down the catwalk in chunky black heels. 

She teamed the racy dress, which had some jewel detailing on the bust, with a silk headscarf. Gigi later changed into a plunging black crop top, mini skirt and blazer. 

Unlike previous years, designers have had to think of new ways to showcase their clothes in keeping with current health and safety guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Debuting the collection on Instagram, Versace wrote: ‘The new Versace La Greca code features the Greek Key along with the Versace logo in various sizes and colour combinations. The geometric pattern has sharp angles, clean lines and a strong palette that represents power and self-confidence.’

Speaking of her vision for the show Donatella told Vogue: ‘Models are like actors, they bring the designs to life, just like when a performer portrays a character.

‘During the filming of this show I saw how important it is to give the models time to ‘feel’ the clothes they wear on the runway. 

‘Despite living in a digital era of immediacy, taking this time is crucial to form a genuine connection. This is what the present and future look like to me.’
