Zayn Malik’s sister Safaa 18, is pregnant with her second child

Zayn Malik‘s younger sister Safaa is pregnant with her second child, 14 months after welcoming her daughter Zaneyah with husband Martin Tiser. 

The 18-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal her happy news as she shared a picture of the sonogram alongside a pair of tiny shoes. 

 Safaa captioned the picture: ‘Coming soon’. 

Safaa lay two pictures of the ultrasound out on a white fluffy cushion alongside light brown shoes with fringed detailing.  

MailOnline has contacted Safaa for comment. 

Safaa welcomed her daughter with husband Martin last January, just four months after the couple tied the knot. 

Announcing Zaneyah’s birth, the sister of the 1D star uploaded a sweet photo of her baby girl wearing a baby grow and hat with the her name and weight – 8lb 3oz – written over the image. 

Safaa, who tied the knot in a traditional Nikkah ceremony, celebrated her first pregnancy with a pink-themed baby shower among her friends and family. 

She appeared in a series of social media images, and wore a sash around her neck which read: ‘It’s a baby girl’ as she celebrated with her nearest and dearest in front of a flower wall. 

Days after the celebration, Zayn shared pictures as he jetted back to the UK to see his family and no doubt congratulate Safaa on her pregnancy.  

It is not known if Zayn, 28, attended the special day and he was not thought to have been present at her wedding. 

Proud mum Trisha previously shared a number of snaps of the newlyweds on Instagram alongside the caption, ‘My baby girls big day’ (sic)’.  

The bride and groom – who is of Slovakian descent – posed for pictures on their special day, flanked by their delighted mothers on either side.

Zayn’s dad Yaser, sisters Doniya, 28, and Waliyha, 22, attended the ceremony but the ex One Direction star – seemed to still be in the U.S. 

The Pillowtalk singer’s family still live in Bradford and he supports his parents and sisters financially.

Zayn’s other sister Waliyha, meanwhile, tied the knot to ex-con Junaid Khan, 24, in December. 

Earlier this month, her husband Junaid claimed their wedding did not cause a ‘major rift’ between them and the One Direction star’s family.

The former double-glazing salesman broke his silence on the topic on social media, as he said he wouldn’t discuss the singer or his father-in-law Yaser’s decision not to attend the wedding, and claimed the couple ‘are happy’. 

Unemployed Junaid shared a series of photos with Zayn’s sister, and the pair looked smitten in wedding snaps and in a variety of other locations.

Underneath the collage, he wrote: ‘Just to add to this I will never answer personal questions about Zayn and my father-in-law!  

‘You can assume what you [want] we know the truth and we are happy that’s all that matters.’ (sic)

Seemingly in solidarity with his post, his spouse also shared a meme about ‘people bonding over their dislike towards you’, as she said trolls needed to ‘see someone’ about their issues.

She wrote: ‘Sorry but after what I’ve just seen this needs to be re posted [laughing emojis] OMG embarrassing get help!!! See someone about ur issues [sic].’

While the artist remained in the US, Yaser failed to leave the family home in Bradford and walk a mere 70 yards to the ceremony, which took place in the home of his youngest daughter, who lives only six doors away.

Family sources have revealed the father-of-one has not even spoken to Waliyha over the telephone and did not send any gifts because he was so angry over her choice of husband.

MailOnline revealed that the newlyweds are living in what amounts to a glorified outhouse in the garden of Yaser’s home, but he has disowned them and is refusing to acknowledge their union.

The arrangement to allow them to live at the back of the family home was taken by Zayn’s mother Tricia, who is continuing to support her daughter and her new husband. 

At the same time, Khan’s relatives claimed his family have also disowned him and Waliyha, complaining that they consider her to be ‘disrespectful’ after she become embroiled in an ugly fight with Khan’s mother, Amreen Begum.

A family member who did not want to be named said: ‘Waliyha had a huge fight with Junaid outside his home in the summer. She was hitting him and screaming at him.

‘Amreen was there and heard it all. She thought it was disgusting behaviour and believes that Waliyha has no respect for Asian culture. She told Junaid that she did not want a daughter-in-law who behaves like that.’ 

Junaid spent five years at Doncaster’s Lindholme Prison for car-jacking an elderly woman with a screwdriver.  

Zayn, meanwhile, became a father himself when he welcomed his gorgeous daughter Khai to the world late last year with long-term girlfriend Gigi Hadid, 25.
