Conor McGregor shares a family snap with his pregnant fiancee Dee Devlin and his children in Dubai

He has been based in the United Arab Emirates with his family since losing his lightweight fight against Dustin Poirier earlier this year.

And Conor McGregor made the most of his time abroad with his ‘crew’ as they posed up-close and personal with a sea lion in Dubai on Monday.

The UFC fighter, 32, shared a holiday snap of the special experience with his pregnant fiancée Dee Devlin, 33, two children, Conor Jnr and Croía, and sister Aoife McGregor.

Conor held his son Conor Jnr, three, in his arms while his long-term partner of 12 years, held their daughter Croía, two, on her lap.

Dee, who is pregnant with their third child, wore a red swimsuit as she kept one hand around her young daughter and the other held out to touch the sea lion.

Conor showed off his muscular physique in a pair of blue swimming shorts as he continues to train for his upcoming trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

The Irish athlete posted the snap to his 39million Instagram followers, captioning it: ‘My crew, what a crew ❤️ Hope everyone had a good Easter this year’.

The mixed martial artist will go head-to-head with rival Poirier on July 10 after Conor was defeated in a knockout in Abu Dhabi in January.

But his strict training reigeme hasn’t stopped Conor happily munched a slice of golden steak prepared for him by Salt Bae as he enjoyed a night out at Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Dubai last month.

The UFC star appeared in great spirits as he delightedly seasoned his meat in the style of the Turkish chef, 37, in a fun new Instagram video.

In a video shared to Salt Bae’s grid, the butcher, real name Nusret Gökçe, is seen elaborately slicing up a huge piece of gold leaf covered meat in his usual fashion, as Conor watched on.

Conor appeared transfixed as he watched Salt Bae demonstrate his superior knife skills while looking into the camera, with Conor encouraging everyone to watch.

The mixed martial artist then channeled Salt Bae himself as he sprinkled a pinch of salt over his meat.

The chef then picked up a piece of meat and held it up as Conor opened his mouth to be fed.

Captioning the video clip, Salt Bae penned: ‘He loves my Golden Steak.’

He also shared a snap of himself posing with Conor, his fiancee Dee Devlin and their two children Conor Jnr and Croia.

While another image shared to his stories showed him jokingly sparring with the sports star.

Connor, who traveled to the UAE last month on his work trip, previously spent some of lockdown in a £1million Algarve mansion with views of the Atlantic with family.

Conor was renting the villa in November and it boasted an infinity pool and cinema room for guests.

It comes after Conor made his highly-anticipated comeback in a lightweight clash against Dustin Poirier, with hopes that a win would act as a springboard for a run at the title he won in 2016.

However, Conor fell flat at the first hurdle with Poirier exacting revenge over his 2014 defeat by the Notorious, knocking the former two-weight world champion out in the second round.

And according to The National News, the UFC recorded 1.6m pay-per-view purchases for the event from Fight Island, with 1.2m buys in the United States and 400,000 internationally.

That figure ranks as the third-highest grossing PPV in the history of the sport, and betters any other event in the last year, including Conor’s UFC 246 bout with Donald Cerrone last January.

Conor now occupies the top three places for pay-per-views in UFC history, with his grudge match with Khabib Nurmagomedov topping the list at 2.4m buys, while his rematch with Nate Diaz got 1.65m buys.
