Amber Davies has emerged from lockdown a single woman after ending her year-long relationship with Nick Kyriacou, despite previously claiming he was ‘the one.’
The former Love Island winner, 24, started dating the operations manager in 2020, but has opted to break off their romance following a series of rows.
A source told The Sun: ‘Amber really thought she had found The One in Nick but sadly that now couldn’t be further from the truth.

‘Over the past few weeks they have been arguing and it quickly became clear that the spark between them had gone.’
It’s understood that Amber also felt the relationship served a purpose while Britain trawled through a year of lockdowns, but believes it has since run its course.
The source added: ‘Amber and Nick’s relationship felt as though it had gone from nought to 60 in just a few weeks when they first got together.

‘She was totally caught up in their romance and lockdown massively amplified the situation. They quickly moved in together and at the start it was everything Amber had hoped for.
‘But as the world started getting ready to open up again, things started to unravel. Amber took control in the end and called time on it.’
Sources previously claimed the couple grew close when the first lockdown lifted in June 2020, after which Nick was introduced to Amber’s family in Wales before they flew to Dubai for a romantic holiday.

An insider told MailOnline: ‘Amber and Nick are so happy together. In the past Amber has kept her romantic life private but she’s so in love with Nick.
‘After meeting her family the weekend she knew it was the right time to share her new relationship with her fans.
‘Nick is a normal guy who isn’t in the spotlight, which is why Amber kept his Instagram profile untagged from their posts together.
