‘I’m juggling a lot of nasty boys,’ said Easton, who split with her boyfriend Ryan (Luka Jones).

‘[Me and my date] hung out and then he bit a string off of my skirt. I think I’ve creamed my jeans like a medical amount today and now I have to throw away my car.’

Meanwhile, Annie’s boss Gabe Parrish (John Cameron Mitchell) at fictional alt-weekly magazine The Weekly Thorn assigns her a story on a white supremacist family.

Easton – the assistant calendar editor – winds up getting ‘canceled’ for the sympathetic story and laments: ‘Everyone’s mad at me because of the article that I wrote!’

Shrill also features Ian Owens, E.R. Fightmaster, Patti Harrison, Daniel Stern, SNL alum (1990-1994) Julia Sweeney, and SNL alum (2002-2013) Fred Armisen.

The critically-acclaimed comedy series – based on co-creator Lindy West’s 2016 book – is executive produced by SNL creator Lorne Michaels and Elizabeth Banks.

‘Shrill has been one of the most creatively satisfying experiences of my life, a true labor of love for me and everyone who worked so hard on it,’ the two-time Emmy nominee said of Shrill ending to THR in January.

‘We are incredibly proud of this upcoming third and final season and are so grateful to the audience who connected with this story. I am deeply honored to have worked so closely with the writers, cast and crew to make Shrill while continuing my work at SNL, it is a time I will never forget.’
