She is equally known for her wide-ranging ability as a performer and her run on the critically acclaimed show, The Good Place.

The 40-year-old actress appeared to be focusing on getting into character as she spent time in the production area of the forthcoming comedy-mystery show.

Bell appeared to be keeping herself warm in the cool springtime weather, as she wore a sizable dark green overcoat while spending time on set.

The Veronica Mars actress paired her outer layer with a stylish gray turtleneck sweater and a set of slightly distressed blue jeans.

The performer tied off her outfit with a pair of leather Chelsea-style heeled boots.

Her typically flowing blonde hair was cut short and hung just above her shoulders as she strolled around the production area of the forthcoming miniseries.

Bell has been hard at work on The Woman In The House for the past few months and serves alongside Will Ferrell as one of the project’s executive producers.

The upcoming miniseries is set to follow a heartbroken loner, played by the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star, who makes the acquaintance of one of her new neighbors.

Trouble arises, however, when the character believes that she was a witness to a horrific murder that may or may not have happened.

Other performers who will appear in the forthcoming show include Tom Riley, Shelley Hennig and Cameron Britton, among several others.

Development on The Woman In The House began in October last year when Netflix gave its team a limited series order.

The project was created by Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras, who all created and starred in the TV Land series Nobodies.

Bell’s casting was announced that same month, with several other performers being added to the upcoming show this past winter.

Filming on the forthcoming comedy-mystery series began in March and is taking place at various locations in and around Los Angeles.

The Woman In The House, which will run for a total of eight episodes, currently does not have a set release date.
