Kristin Cavallari and estranged husband Jay Cutler sued by man claiming he was BITTEN their dog

Kristin Cavallari and her estranged husband Jay Cutler are being sued after one of their dogs allegedly bit a man at a home in Old Hillsboro Road in Franklin, Tennessee.

Nathan Beam, a resident of Jackson County, Alabama, stated in court documents obtained by WKRN on Wednesday that he was bitten by the couple’s dog in June of 2020, while performing a cable and satellite install.

Beam is suing for damages as he claims the incident caused him ‘physical pain and mental suffering,’ adding that the scuffle with Cavallari and Cutler’s dog left him with ‘visible disfigurement and scarring.’

As per the lawsuit, Beam alleges that ‘neither Cutler nor Cavallari were at the home when he arrived,’ but that their dogs were openly roaming the Old Hillsboro Road property ‘unrestrained’ upon his arrival.

Beam, who works as a satellite and cable installer, says he was asked to come to the property to perform an installation in June 2020, with the home being owned by ‘Next Chapter, LLC, a Davidson County limited liability company.’

Once the installation was complete, Beam claims that he returned to his truck where he alleges the former couple’s German Shepherd named Kona was ‘blocking the driver-side door.’

Still near the truck, Beam said that he bent down to pick something off the ground, which is when he alleges that Kona ‘bit his left thumb and fingernail and “would not let go for several seconds.”‘

Although Cavallari and Cutler were ‘not’ at the home at the time of the incident, Beam claims that Cavallari’s personal assistant was present and ‘handed him a paper towel and told him to leave the property immediately.’

Beam’s lawsuit also suggests that it was stated in the installation agreement that ‘the dogs were required to be restrained or restricted to a closed area.’

Although Cutler is listed as living at an address in Davidson County, where the suit has been filed, Cavallari is listed as living at a resident in Williamson County.

And it is still ‘unclear what links the former couple has to Next Chapter, LLC or the Hillsboro Road property.’

As part of the lawsuit, Beam and his legal team are claiming that Jay and Kristin were aware of the alleged danger their dogs posed to others due to social media posts made about them in the past.

Certain Instagram postings by Cavallari about the dogs are directly cited in the suit. One of which used the caption ‘beast,’ while another made use of the hashtags ‘#TrainedKiller and #DontMessWithThisCrew.’

The photos referenced in the suit were taken and posted three years ago.

Beam’s lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in Davidson County Circuit Court, with records stating that ‘summons have been issued for both Cutler & Cavallari.’

The former couple, who originally wed in 2013, announced last year that they would be separating after seven years of marriage and 10 years together.

Kristin and Jay also happen to have welcomed three children during the span of their decade-long relationship.

They share sons Camden, eight, and Jaxon, six, and five-year-old daughter Saylor James.
