Colton Underwood hopes to ‘sit down and talk’ with ex Cassie Randolph about split

Colton Underwood has extended an apology to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph over the way their relationship ended amid accusations he stalked his former flame and placed a tracking device on her car.

Randolph, 25, filed a restraining order against Underwood, 29, following their break-up last year, and accused him of stalking, harassing, sending her ‘unsettling text messages’ and repeatedly calling her.

In an interview with Robin Roberts in which he came out as gay, Underwood acknowledged the mistakes he made in their split and admitted he had not yet spoken with Randolph about his sexuality.

‘I don’t know if I ever will get the chance to sit down and talk with her,’ he told Roberts when asked if he had discussed his sexuality with her. ‘I would like to. I would like to say sorry for how things ended.’

Underwood said he was ‘extremely’ sorry over the role he played in their break-up.

‘I made mistakes at the end of that relationship, and I ruined the good memories we had by my actions and what I did to hold on to being straight because I didn’t want to look myself in the mirror,’ he said. ‘So for that, I’m extremely, extremely sorry.’

Randolph was ultimately granted a temporary restraining order against her ex, which forced him to stay at least 100 yards away from her, in addition to her car, home, workplace, and school.
