Jodie Turner-Smith shows off her figure in an embroidered dress and a white bikini

She became a first time mum in April last year when they welcomed their beloved daughter Janie Jackson, who she shares with husband Joshua Jackson.

And Jodie Turner-Smith looked sensational as she enjoyed a family break away in a picturesque location where she watched the runway for Gucci’s Aria collection on in a video she shared via Instagram on Thursday.

The actress, 34, was seen relaxing on a sun lounger in a chic embroidered dress before she decided she was ‘too hot’ and took it off, revealing her sensational figure while wearing a white bikini.

Jodie’s swimwear was cut high on her waist to accentuate her slender legs as she relaxed in the sun-soaked location.

Her dress, meanwhile, featured a stylish floral pattern and panel detailing at the front, while she perfectly accessorised the look by wearing a colourful bandana.

She added a chic flair to the look by shielding her eyes with over-sized shades and wearing a silver ankle bracelet.

In the amusing video clip, Jodie’s dress accidentally got caught on her head and she burst out laughing alongside the person taking the video because of the blunder.

Jodie exuded confidence in the clip, which came after she vowed to teach her daughter to love herself, stating that becoming a mother made her ‘advocate ever harder’ for herself.

The mother-of-one said being pregnant made her realise how mothers are ‘discriminated against’ in the workplace, and pushed her to do more to stand up for herself and other women.

She told People magazine: ‘Being a pregnant person taught me to advocate even harder for myself.

‘You see the ways in which you’re discriminated against as a pregnant person in the workforce. I mean, even in our business, people treat you different. That was interesting.’

Yet she now carries herself differently, knowing that her child is ‘watching’.

She explained: ‘My child is watching. I have to, in my ways, show her how to be a person that loves themself.

‘Loving yourself means having boundaries, means standing up for yourself, means standing up for what’s right in the world. We’re seeing so many things happen in the world that are not right.”

The comments come weeks after Jodie revealed she wept after her first child, now 11 months, was born because she felt a sense of ’emptiness’ in her womb.

Despite feeling emotional, she said that giving birth was a ‘beautiful’ experience that showed ‘the evidence of her biological powers’.

The Queen & Slim star told MATCHESFASHION in a new Q&A for their Curated By series: ‘I remember feeling my womb for the first time after I gave birth, feeling the emptiness, and I just wept.

‘Because it’s just as beautiful, as it is bizarre, as it is completely f****** normal and human. My body has more curves now, more folds, more softness, and all of that is the evidence of my biological powers.

‘I just kind of grow more in awe of that every day.’

Reflecting on the birthing experience, Jodie reaffirmed how going into labour made her realise how ‘powerful’ women are.

She said to ELLE earlier this year: ‘The men think they’re hard-core, but they could never do what they do while also making a baby. They just couldn’t.

‘[Giving birth reaffirmed to me that] patriarchal society really is out here, scamming women into thinking that they’re not supremely powerful beings, because damn, it’s some goddess-level s***.’

Last month, she revealed that she had had a plaster cast made of her heavily pregnant tummy.

Taking to Instagram, she shared the process with her social media followers, posting images of the plaster cast covering her bump and breasts.

She also posted a selfie she took with part of the cast as well as uploading a picture of the finished mould.

‘[Luckily] I’m not having to sit on Zoom with her and suddenly become her educator as well as her caretaker.’

She previously told Vogue that she had given birth to her child at her home in Los Angeles and spent nearly four days in labour.

Jodie and Dawson’s Creek alum Joshua started dating in 2018 and they wed in 2019 before welcoming their daughter a year later.
