‘Demi and I are no longer together. We decided to go our separate ways this morning. Nothing bad happened. We were both loyal to one another and still love each other.’

She continued: ‘Sometimes people just don’t work perfectly together and that’s OK. We rushed into living together without knowing if our personalities and daily life meshed well together.

‘I wish we could have had a few days to emotionally cope with this in private but we chose to share our entire relationship with you guys which is why I’m posting this now.’

Eagle-eyed fans noticed the former couple had stopped following each other on social media.

As she asked her followers to respect her privacy because they are having an ‘extremely difficult time,’ she added: ‘I would have loved to remain friends and in each other’s lives but she thought seeing me on social media would be too difficult for her, which is why she wanted to block me.

‘In normal life when a couple breaks up this is a coping mechanism and they don’t get scrutinised by thousands of people for how they choose to act after a heartbreaking situation.

‘I really want you guys to know nothing bad happened between us at all.’

She concluded the post: ‘Please be kind and respect our privacy. It is an extremely difficult time for both of us and negative, inaccurate and presumptuous comments make it much more difficult. It did take a toll on our relationship as well.’

MailOnline has contacted Demi’s representatives for comment.

The shock break up comes after Francesca revealed that Demi immediately asked her to marry her when sliding into her DMs on Instagram.

She made the candid admission while appearing on the  TOWIE: DRAGGED OUT digital series alongside her Essex-based girlfriend.

The new couple were appearing on a new digital show launched by The Only Way Is Essex, presented by drag artist A’Whora, who recently starred in the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

This week A’Whora was joined by Demi and Francesca, as well as Chloe Brockett, 20, Joey Turner, 18, and Tom McDonnell, 24.

Demi recently said she and the Too Hot To Handle personality have already considered tying the knot with a post-pandemic ceremony in Italy.

The make-up artist and the model, who have been in a relationship for just two months, also defended getting tattoo tributes of each other’s names after just one week of dating during their trip to Mexico.

On taking things to the next level from their first chat, the Essex native said: ‘The first conversation we ever had in the DMs was about a wedding, I actually asked her to marry me as my first message and she just went along with it which was great.’

‘But yeah we have spoke about it, obviously we’ve only been actually together for two months so I think I dunno it’s up to you really isn’t it because you said you’re gonna do the proposing, so it’s up to Francesca.’

(Francesca) I never really thought about doing it myself until I met her, right when I met her, I was like it’s gonna be me, it needs to be me who’s gonna do it. I already know how I’m gonna do it, she’s not gonna see it coming.’

Despite not being engaged, the lovebirds already have their ideal nuptials in mind, with Demi sharing: ‘I think it depends on lockdown, were moving into a new place on Monday which is gonna be really nice.

‘Hopefully we’re gonna move back to Essex because I miss the Essex life. We definitely don’t want any lockdown weddings because that’s like not a vibe.

‘It needs to be like post pandemic, the very first thing I ever said to her was we need a post pandemic wedding in Italy at a vineyard, so I feel like we need to go all out.’

The reality stars shocked fans when they got their names tattooed on each other’s bottom and wrist during a whirlwind holiday.

Influencer Demi, who has been living in London with Francesca for a month, stood by their decision as she explained: ‘I got her name tattooed on my butt like the first week we met, yeah literally 6 days in.

‘From the day that I met Francesca she kept saying ”I really wanna get your name tattooed on me, I really wanna do it I love you so much” I just thought she was bluffing, I didn’t think she was being serious.

‘Then this one specific day we was at this beach bar and she was like I wanna do it today so then we went into a tattoo shop didn’t we and you ended up getting it done in my hand writing.

‘Yeah, she wrote it out like 30 times and then I picked the cute one with the heart on the I. Then I felt left out so I wanted to get her initial put on my body, she was like no I’m not letting you do it.

‘She doesn’t have any tattoo’s so this was her very first tattoo so I was like you need to think of what it will look like, like for me I have a few so I knew for sure I wanted to do it and I was thinking about it for like a week up to that.’

While they may seem strong now, the younger sister of Chloe Sims confessed her friends and family were apprehensive about Francesca at first.

Demi shared: ‘She was literally like come to Mexico and meet me and I was nervous because I’ve never met her before so I was like what am I gonna do, am I actually gonna fly to Mexico by myself and meet this girl I’ve never met? It was all just crazy.

‘In my heart and my head, it felt like the right thing to do. My mum was like make sure that she’s real, like your flying over to Mexico to meet this person you’ve just met on social media.

‘All my friends were saying the same things as well like ”You’re crazy, don’t do that that’s so dangerous” and I was like no guys honestly this girl, I feel like me and this girl have got so much in common I have to go and meet her.’
