Australian Mel had flown out to Britain earlier this month after being granted an exemption to travel because of her involvement in Married At First Sight UK.

Her husband, Gareth Brisbane, and their six-year-old daughter, Madison, are still waiting for their exemptions from immigration officials.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘I’m very aware of how lucky I am to be travelling internationally at the moment and so grateful to [British TV production company] CPL Productions for unwavering support and encouragement.’

Mel said she’d been granted her exemption after ‘two weeks of uncertainty’, and that her family would be joining her as soon as they are permitted.

Out on the town! It comes after Mel flew to the UK earlier this month to film the British version of the show and celebrated the end of her quarantine on Thursday with a trip to Brighton Pier
