Beyonce looks leggy in green dress… ahead of ‘appearance’ in season two of Netflix’s Selena

On Sunday night, 28-time Grammy winner Beyoncé Knowles-Carter shared a stairwell snap of herself looking leggy in a green dress and opera gloves.

The 39-year-old R&B diva – who boasts 269.3M social media followers – returned from Las Vegas where she and husband Jay-Z celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 4.

Beyoncé originally met the 51-year-old rap mogul (born Shawn Carter) back in 1998, and she’s been unafraid to sing about the good and bad times.  

The Carters are proud parents of nine-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, who won her first Grammy Award for best music video for Brown Skin Girl.

The On the Run couple are also parents of three-year-old twins, son Sir and daughter Rumi.

Last Thursday, Netflix unveiled the trailer for the second season of Selena: The Series – premiering May 4 – which features a young version of Beyoncé with her mother Tina.

‘Who’s that?’ Tina asked her little future superstar, who replied in awe: ‘That’s Selena.’ 

In an unearthed MTV interview, the Destiny’s Child alum confirmed she did meet the late, great Queen of Tejano at Houston shopping mall, The Galleria.

‘I didn’t say much to Selena. I wasn’t a celebrity, I just saw her and said hello and kept moving,’ Beyoncé recalled.

‘Definitely growing up in Texas, I heard her on the radio, and I think listening to her album, even though I didn’t know exactly what she was singing, it helped me in the studio.’

Grammy winner Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was tragically gunned down, age 23, by her trusted fan club president Yolanda Saldívar in 1995.
