Bye Bye Bec! Channel Nine Postcards begins filming again in Melbourne but who replaces Rebecca Judd?

Earlier this month, Channel Nine confirmed Rebecca Judd would not be returning to host popular travel program Postcards.

And it appears the TV network works fast as they’ve already begun filming in Melbourne and have revealed the brand new cast.

According to TV tonight, Shane Crawford has replaced the AFL WAG as host.

New host! Former AFL star Shane Crawford (middle) has replaced WAG Bec Judd on Channel Nine’s Postcards. He will be joined by Todd Woodbridge, Brodie Harper, Lauren Phillips, Sam Groth, Madeline Slattery and Shane Delia will also appear on the show

On Saturday, the former AFL star and media personality posted a picture of the cast to Instagram, simply captioning it: ‘Postcards Team @9postcards #travel.’

Fellow presenters Livinia Nixon, Todd Woodbridge, Brodie Harper, Lauren Phillips, Sam Groth, Madeline Slattery and Shane Delia will also appear on the show.

This season of the show is set to be the most adventurous yet.

‘Post-lockdown we’re out traveling again, enjoying things that we might have taken for granted. I think it just feels like a really good time to be re-exploring,’ Executive Producer Mel Zahra told the Herald Sun.

Mel also paid tribute to Bec after confirming the former WAG had called it quits.

‘It’s not been as successful as it’s been without the heavy lifting from people like Bec over a long period of time,’ she said.

‘She made a statement about wanting to focus on her family and that’s understandable.’

Postcards airs 5:30pm Sunday on Nine.
