Moore last month took to social media celebrating her return to the set of the critically-acclaimed NBC series.

‘So grateful to be able to ease back into this job I love so much (and to be able to bring my sweet hubby and baby to hang with me),’ she told her followers.

The show had to delay production earlier this year amid a spike in coronavirus rates in Los Angeles in January.

In February, she shared shots of her newborn son, writing, ‘He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.’

Moore plays Rebecca Pearson on the show set over multiple timelines, leading to scenes in which Moore’s character is decades older than the actress, necessitating the makeup.

She has past opened up about the extensive makeup process she undergoes for her role on the series.

‘I love that I’m given this opportunity to play this character from 25 to 68,’ Moore told Variety of the role in 2018. ‘That’s so unheard of. So I don’t begrudge the process that comes along with it.’

She told the outlet that portraying the older incarnation of her character also comes with an emotional undertone.

‘If I’m in age makeup, something dramatic has happened,’ Moore told the outlet. ‘I’m being confronted by my son about the fact that I’ve been lying to him, meeting his biological father and pretending I don’t know him, talking about the anniversary of my husband’s death.’

She noted that the makeup transformations remains ‘one of the most asked-about questions’ about the series.
