The Project’s Carrie Bickmore reveals her very different and youthful new look following a shopping trip with her teenage son Oliver

She known for her polished and well-styled ensembles on The Project.

But on Wednesday, The Project star Carrie Bickmore revealed her very different and youthful new look after going on a shopping trip with her 13-year-old son Oliver.

The 40-year-old shared a photo of herself posing in a rainbow tie-dye tracksuit ensemble from Jay Jays.

Her $40 jumper featured ‘nope.’ written across the top, which she teamed with matching $40 trackpants.

In the photo, the blonde beauty threw up the peace sign as she posed in front of the Carrie and Tommy sign ahead of hosting their radio show.  

The mother-of-three wrote in the caption: ‘Went clothes shopping with my 13 year old and walked out looking like a teenager myself.

‘I am about a year too late for a matching tie-dye trackie but it’s my vibe. Up next a hyper colour t-shirt and some parachute pants,’ she joked.

Carrie’s famous friends loved the new look, including  Chezzi Denyer who wrote: ‘Hahaha I actually love this look on you Bickers!!’

Carrie is a doting mother to her teenage son Oliver from her marriage to Greg Lange, who died of brain cancer in 2010.

She also shares two daughters, Adelaide, two, and Evie, six, with her long-term partner, television producer Chris Walker.

Carrie turned 40 in December, after the coronavirus pandemic forced her to cancel her plans for a Glastonbury Festival-themed party.

She instead marked the big day by throwing a smaller shindig with her friends and family by her side in Melbourne.

Carrie wore a pink dress as she posed next to a balloon with a rather cheeky slogan, and joked that she would stay 39 for another year because 2020 didn’t count.
