EastEnders SPOILER: Frankie does her best to get Nancy to open up after divorce bombshell in tense new scenes from the square

She recently arrived back on the square.

And after Nancy Carter’s (Maddy Hill) shock divorce, sister Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) tries her best to get her to open up about what’s been going on.

In upcoming scenes, Frankie, the daughter of Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) as a result of child abuse, encourages her sister to talk to her about her problems.

Frankie decides to follow her sister to discover what she’s up to, but what will she find out?

Zack Hudson (James Farrar) has also taken a shine to Nancy, and promises he can get Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) to change her mind after she refuses to give her a job at the gym.

This leaves Mick and Linda confused when Zack tells them that Nancy has a new job there.

Things go from bad to worse later this week for Nancy, as her mother Linda finds something hidden in her jacket pocket.

Speaking about Nancy’s comeback storyline, the soap’s Executive Producer Jon Sen said, according to The Sun: ‘We’re delighted to have Maddy back and I can’t wait for audiences to see what’s in store for Nancy.

‘There’s a lot of mystery surrounding her return and she’s coming back to a family that have been through a very difficult year – things are definitely not as Nancy left them.’

He added: ‘Maddy is a fantastic actor and we feel very lucky to have her back in Walford.’

EastEnders continues tonight at 8:05pm on BBC One.
