Victoria Beckham can’t control her laughter as Justin Bieber gifts her a pair of lilac CROCS 

Victoria Beckham is so renowned for her love of stilettos that she made headlines in 2016 when she announced a (short-lived) vow to ditch heels in favour of comfy flats. 

Yet Justin Bieber didn’t seem to get the memo regarding the style icon’s footwear preferences as he left her baffled with his latest gift. 

The singer, 27, left Victoria, 47, in hysterics on Tuesday when he gifted her a pair of Crocs – the divisive footwear once widely panned by the fashion industry. 

Showing off the pair of lilac foam clogs – a collaboration between Crocs and Justin’s fashion line drew house  – Victoria was unable to control her giggles. 

Zooming in and out of the decorated footwear, she laughed: ‘Okay, this is so kind of Justin to send me some Crocs, errm I’ve never worn a pair of Crocs!

‘They did make me laugh. It is the thought that counts – thank you so much! I’m not quite so sure what to say about this, but thank you. It’s very sweet!’

She then set a poll for 28.9 million followers, asking: ‘Will I be wearing lilac Crocs?!’, to which the response was tight, with only 57 percent answering no. 

Victoria then quipped she ‘can’t wait for the results’ as she thanked Justin once again in a caption.  

Crocs are the marmite of the fashion world, with many fans at first teasing Justin when he followed in the footsteps of rapper Post Malone by announcing his collaboration with the brand. 

Despite the ribbing, Justin’s limited-edition Crocs sold out in just 90 minutes when they launched in October, causing such a frenzy of excitement among fans that the brand’s website actually crashed under the weight of the demand for the clogs.

The singer had a hand in designing $59.99 rubber shoes, which came decorated with removable Jibbitz charms.

Crocs has also partnered with several fashion houses for past collaborations, with Balenciaga, Alife, and Christopher Kane having released their own versions of the shoes.

Despite their surge in popularity in recent years, it doesn’t seem as though fashion icon Victoria will be wearing a pair anytime soon. 

The former Spice Girl is so attached to her beloved heels that in 2016, she made headlines when she announced she would be ditching her stilettos for trainers. 

She made the shocking revelation that she ‘just can’t’ totter around in six-inch heels as a working mother anymore in an interview. 

Talking to The Telegraph, Victoria explained that a life spent in sky-scraping stilettos has finally taken its toll and the glamorous look isn’t as practical as it once was.

She said: ‘I just can’t do heels any more. At least not when I’m working. I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable.’

Despite shocking fans with the revelation, her vow didn’t last long as after a few days being pictured in trainers, she was very quickly back to wearing her towering heels.
