She’s built her brand from the ground up nearly a decade ago.

And Jessica Alba simply shined in an emerald green suit to ring the Nasdaq opening bell on Wednesday morning in New York City.

The 39-year-old actress announced her brand, The Honest Company, was officially going public after raising an incredible $412million IPO.

Jessica sported a dark green power suit as she made her way through Times Square to mark the big occasion for her brand.

She paired a knee-length blazer with tailored slacks and rocked a silky cream colored blouse underneath.

Her dark brown hair was parted to the side and styled in voluminous waves, and her flawless complexion took center stage with bold brows and pink blush highlighting her features.

‘Based in Los Angeles, California and launched in 2012, Honest has been dedicated to providing thoughtfully formulated, safe and effective personal care, beauty care, baby care and household products which can be found online and in over 32,00 retail locations across the United States and Europe,’ she said.

The company’s initial public offering was priced at $16 per share and sold 25.8 million shares, raising $412.8 million and giving Honest a valuation of $1.44 billion.  

‘This is a monumental day for Honest as we officially become a public company,’ Alba said. ‘Now, more than ever, health and wellness have taken center stage. Looking back on 2020, i think we can all agree that in order to thrive, you need your health. 

‘I believe it is our responsibility to leave the world better than when we found it. That’s why, since day one, as a woman of color it has been my goal to build a diverse, inclusive and ethical company based on the values of transparency, trust, sustainability and a deep sense of purpose in all that we do.
