The Voice’s RaeLynn announces she is PREGNANT with a baby girl on her 27th birthday: ‘Excited for our world to be turned upside down in September’

The mom-to-be unveiled the exciting baby news to People on Tuesday in celebration of her 27th birthday.
‘Well this Georgia Peach and Texas Rose did the thing. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I’m 27 years old and 21 weeks into carrying our BABY GIRL,’ the Keep Up singer wrote in her announcement.

Just months after learning they were expecting their first child in January, the couple finally felt ready to let the world know their world is about ‘to be turned upside down in September.’
In one of the precious maternity photos, which were also shared to Instagram, RaeLynn posed sweetly next to husband Josh as she showcased her blossoming baby bump in a low-cut, yellow minidress.
She captioned another snap, which pictured her gently cradling her stomach as she sat on a pink couch: ‘We already have so much love for this little flower child.’
‘I can’t wait to be her Momma and to watch Josh be her Dad,’ RaeLynn gushed.

In her interview with People, the star spoke about how she and her husband have ‘thought more about the important things in life’ like ‘growing’ their family this past year.
‘I for sure thought I was having a boy — I don’t know why; I just did. Josh’s gut feeling the whole time was a girl, so he was right for sure. I didn’t care either way, though,’ she reflected on finding out her little one’s gender.
She went on to joke: ‘I should have known with my debut song ‘God Made Girls’ that God would give me a girl first!’

RaeLynn also talked about managing her Type 1 diabetes while carrying a baby.
‘I’ve been so fortunate to have an amazing care team that has me on the best regimen. My diabetes and A1C has never been better than it is now,’ she told the outlet.
While the pair were able to agree ‘pretty quickly’ on the ‘perfect’ name, they are keeping it under wraps for now.

They also plan to incorporate faith in their future bundle of joy’s life.
‘We of course are no experts, but for us our faith has been so important in our marriage and upbringing,’ she said. ‘So how we raise her will be centered around faith as well as her self-worth and confidence.’
She added: ‘Social media is a scary place and I just want her to always be confident in who she is and not compare herself.’
