Charlotte Crosby admits she ‘hasn’t forgiven’ ex Gary after going through ectopic pregnancy alone

Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has admitted she hasn’t forgiven ex Gary Beadle after she went through an ectopic pregnancy alone while he was filming Ex On The Beach

In 2016, while the television personality, now 30, was going through the traumatic experience, Gary, now 33, was out in Thailand filming the reality show where he slept with Jemma Lucy and also had a threesome.

Opening up about the experience on her podcast Values and Vibrators, Charlotte  broke down in tears explaining: ‘I haven’t forgiven him but it kind of is what it is and I don’t hold a grudge against him any more.’

In the emotional podcast episode released on Tuesday, she described in heartbreaking detail the extreme pain she was dealing with in the days leading up to being admitted to hospital – all the while posing for photoshoots and recording her fitness DVD believing the pain and bleeding was just a heavy period.

She continued to sob as she discussed the sadness she felt when she learned part of her fallopian tube and ovary had to be removed during her emergency surgery.

As a result of the ectopic pregnancy, Charlotte’s fallopian tube had ruptured and was releasing toxins into her body.

While going through the horrendous experience, Charlotte was unable to contact Gary because his phone had been taken away while he was filming Ex On The Beach.

Once she was out of surgery Charlotte’s agent got in touch with the production team and advised they give him his phone back so he could speak with Charlotte regularly for support.

‘I think every girl will know this, you don’t want to tell them to come home but you want them to be there but you want them to do that off their own back,’ Charlotte said.

‘You want them to be like I want to leave this show now. I want to get on the first flight home and be by the side of the girl that I apparently care so much about but that just never happened.

‘He carried on filming and we spoke every other day on the phone and he insisted “Oh it’s been great, nothing has happened with any girls” but obviously that was a lie.’

The heartbreak she felt at the time was evident in the podcast, even five years on.

She said: ‘I suffered a lot, I lost my organs, I was in hospital, I nearly died and just as I kind of like, not that you get over it, but just as you start to feel like everything is feeling a bit better and its something that happened but you’re moving on and then that TV show comes out.’

The reality star revealed that she and Gary eventually stopped speaking while he was filming. ‘The phone calls stopped and that was it really,’ she added.

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in the fallopian tube, meaning a baby is unable to develop and leaving the mother’s health in danger.

Speaking a month after the ordeal, Charlotte divulged that she had actually come off her contraceptive pill – not by choice, but because she hadn’t had the time to renew the prescription – and took a morning after pill, but too late.

To help her deal with her feelings and overcome the experience she told her podcast listeners she regularly met with a psychologist named Gareth, who was provided to her by MTV.

Charlotte spoke candidly about how she was feeling at the time, admitting she no longer wanted anything to do with Gary and that the experience eventually led to her deciding to leave Geordie Shore.

‘I couldn’t go back into that show with him. I was so hurt I couldn’t put myself through anymore torture.

‘Five years later we have spoke a few times and stupid as it sounds it would be nice to be friend again.’

Charlotte is now in a relationship with her boyfriend Liam Beaumont, who she began dating in 2020 after meeting in Dubai during their respective vacations.

Gary, who met Charlotte on the set of Geordie Shore in 2011, is now engaged to Emma McVey and the couple have two children together – Chester and Primrose.

The Geordie Shore veteran took to Instagram last month to say she was ‘appalled’ by a Channel 5 documentary critiquing her history of plastic surgery.

The station removed the documentary Celebrities: What’s Happened To Your Face? from its streaming service after backlash from Charlotte and her fans online.

The documentary, which was produced by Crackit Productions, aired on April 22 and received 7,082 Ofcom complaints between then and April 28.
