Gina Rodriguez tries to navigate her daughter through a sleep-less apocalyptic landscape in Awake

Gina Rodriguez realizes her daughter may hold the key to saving the world from a bizarre apocalyptic event in the first trailer for Netflix‘s Awake.

The 36-year-old actress portrays Jill, a former soldier caring for her daughter when a global event wipes out all electricity on the planet, while also eliminating humanity’s ability to sleep.
