Kylie Gillies shares candid images with her husband Tony on the couple’s 32nd wedding anniversary

They’ve been happily married for 32 years.

And Kylie Gillies has shared photos of, and a touching tribute to her rarely seen Gillies in a Thursday Instagram post. 

In the amusing photo montage, Tony made a comical face while his Morning Show host wife rummaged through her purse. 

The 54-year-old TV personality captioned the post, ‘Happy 32nd Wedding Anniversary Tone This is the true depiction of married life.’

‘It’s one half of the couple, always a bit frazzled, a touch cranky, constantly looking for something in her handbag,’ she wrote, apparently describing herself.

Of Tony, who gave a double thumbs up as Kylie searched fixedly through her bag, she wrote, ‘And it’s the other half… who is patient, kind, funny and trying to find the best in the situation.’

Kylie continued, ‘And then it’s the other half, again, looking at the guy, telling him it’s his fault they’re running late. But actually knows it’s not.’ 

‘And if they’re really lucky there is a son, or two, standing by witnessing it all. And thinking. Yup…that’s my Mum and Dad.’

‘This series of pics was taken on our way to an opening night. It was fabulous. And so are you Tony. Xxx’.

The photos were taken in March, as the couple made their way to the opening night of Hamilton.

Kylie married Australian Associated Press Editor in Chief Tony in 1989. 

The couple share two sons, Gus and Archie.
