Mary Kalifatidis pranks Big Brother housemates with cheeky hats

Big Brother star Mary Kalifatidis pranks housemates by tricking them into wearing hats with a VERY rude Greek saying

There are no phones, computers or access to Google in the Big Brother house.

And it appears that has worked in Mary Kalifatidis’ favour this season, as she just pulled off a hilarious prank on her co-stars.

The mother of MAFS bride Martha snuck in several hats with rude Greek sayings, and tricked a handful of her housemates into wearing them on television.

‘It means “legend” in Greek!’ Mary Kalifatidis has been pranking her Big Brother co-stars by tricking them into wearing caps with rude Greek sayings

On Monday, housemate Nick was made aware of the prank and addressed his embarrassing predicament on Instagram.

‘Hey Nick, I have a cool hat for you to wear. It means “legend” in Greek,’ he captioned a photo of Mary looking mischievous on the show.

He then shared a gallery of photos of himself wearing the ‘Malaka!’ hat in the Big Brother house, and revealed what the word actually meant.

Uh oh: Nick went on to share photos wearing the hat in the house, and the Google translation answer that said the Greek word was essentially 'w**ker' in English

The Greek meaning is ‘man who masturbates’. While it is typically used as an insult, its literal equivalent in English is ‘w**ker’.

Mary’s MAFS star daughter Martha commented on the post ‘Hahah I’m actually convulsing in laughter’, while her boyfriend Michael Bruneli jokingly added: ‘Mary always wins!’

Tilly Whitfield has also been spotted wearing a ‘Malaka’ hat in the house.

Meanwhile, Mary has been wearing a hat with the saying ‘Re!’, which is Greek slang for ‘you’. It’s also an introductory response or way of expressing attention, like ‘hey’.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Mary Kalifatidis for comment.

Mary and Sarah Jane ‘SJ’ Adams were involved in a double elimination on Tuesday. But all was not as it seemed.

Big Brother whisked them away into a secret attic where they remained safe from eviction during an epic addition to ‘Surprise Week’.

The pair returned to the competition by jumping out of a large cake on Wednesday night’s episode to the shock of their housemates.

Big Brother Australia continues on Sunday from 7pm on Channel Seven
