Rarely seen Aussie singer Tamara Jaber shares photos of herself on Instagram

She was married to Kyle Sandilands in 2008, and following their divorce two years later in 2010, Tamara Jaber has kept a largely low profile.

But the 38-year-old singer shared a series of rare photos of herself on Instagram on Thursday, and she looks nothing like she did when she was married to Kyle.

In the throwback photos, taken during a previous holiday in Mexico, Tamara sports sleek raven-coloured hair.

The brunette beauty’s skin is noticeably paler too, having seemingly given up her devotion to fake tan.

During her high profile marriage to Kyle, 49, Tamara often appeared heavily bronzed, while her hair was sometimes styled in tight auburn-coloured curls. 

In an interview with Woman’s Day magazine in February, Tamara said she’s ‘flattered’ Kyle still talks about her on air 10 years after their relationship ended. 

She also made a point of saying she doesn’t date men like the controversial radio shock jock anymore.  

‘I can’t believe I’m such good [radio] content 10 years on. I do find it amusing. I’m going to call it flattering because I haven’t spoken to him in years,’ she said. 

Tamara, who is engaged to San Francisco-based lawyer Eduardo Roy, added: ‘I never date men like Kyle. I date more reserved people.’

Meanwhile, speaking to the No Filter podcast in April, Kyle confessed that he was left ‘devastated’ after splitting from Tamara.

He said he spent six months partying in Los Angeles in a desperate attempt to move on from her.

‘I had my heart broken,’ said Kyle, who is now dating his business partner Tegan Kynaston, 35. 

‘I was devastated. I ran away and lived in America in a hotel for six months and did the [radio] show from America.’

Kyle admitted he handled the split ‘pretty immaturely’ by running away to the US and ‘shutting everyone out’.

But he felt like he had no choice but to leave Sydney because he ‘felt like a bit of a failure from the marriage not working out’. 

Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O Show last month, Kyle confessed that he didn’t invest as much time and energy in his marriage as he should have.

‘I probably didn’t pay much attention to the other half back then. I was younger, I was driven mainly by work and I was like: “Oh yeah, I’ve got a girlfriend, got a wife. Ticked that box, move on,”‘ he admitted.

Kyle added that there was ‘no real fight’ that prompted their split: ‘We probably never dealt with any issues either because of the non-arguing. She kept things to herself, and you just drift apart.’
