Whitney Port and her son Sonny Sanford looked happy while spotted in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.

The 36-year-old reality television personality and her child, aged four, made the most of the pleasant springtime weather as they took a stroll after stopping for ice cream.

Port was taking care of parenting duties on her own today, as husband Tim Rosenman was not with them for the outing.

Port kept it casual during the mother-son outing where she donned a white crewneck sweater above a pair of dark gray sweat pants.

The fashion designer also wore a single silver necklace and a set of multicolored New Balance running shoes.

Her beautiful brunette-to-blonde hair was tied back in a loose ponytail.

Both Whitney and her son wore masks to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 while spending time in public.

Port and husband Rosenman married in 2015 after first meeting on The Hills’ spinoff The City, where he served as one of its producers.

Although the pair grew close while they were involved with the series’ production, the designer and her now-husband kept things professional at first.

The couple began dating shortly after the show wrapped in 2010 and worked on their relationship for the next few years, which eventually culminated with their marriage.

Port and Rosenman took two years to enjoy themselves and work on their relationship until 2017 when their first son arrived.

The reality television personality and her husband then set their sights on welcoming another child into their growing family.

In 2019, the author became pregnant and went on to experience a miscarriage, although she later told Us Weekly that she still had her sights on providing her son with a younger sibling.

She told the media outlet, ‘I just want someone for Sonny to interact with. There’s something I can’t really explain. It just feels like there’s someone missing, and I finally have kind of connected to that.

‘I guess when you really think about it, getting pregnant in the time of COVID is a very scary thing. But I just feel I have a different perspective on it this time,’ she added.

Although the parents subsequently attempted to bring another child into their family, Port revealed that she had experienced a second miscarriage earlier this year.
