Miley Cyrus looks cool in a pair of edgy two-toned trousers ahead of her SNL gig with Elon Musk

Miley Cyrus showed off her signature rocker-chic style at The Bowery Hotel in New York City, after rehearsing for her highly-anticipated episode of Saturday Night Live.

As the 28-year-old Midnight Sky singer stepped out for a fun night on Thursday, she wore a pair of two-toned grey and green trousers, Dr. Martens and a black baseball cap, which read: ‘Thrilled to death.’

She completed her edgy look with an oversized, striped red jacket over a white crop top, which displayed her gym-honed midriff.

The Grammy nominee wore a surgical mask amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic while preparing to enter the building, surrounded by dozens of her adoring fans. 

Her shaggy blonde hair was styled in a low bun as she arrived at the luxury hotel in downtown Manhattan, days before serving as SNL’s musical guest for Elon Musk.  

Later on Instagram, the Hannah Montana alum shared a close-up selfie with mascara running down her face with the caption: ‘When no one will tell you what Dogecoin is… (my theory is because no one f**king knows).’

Cyrus is slated to perform several of her latest hits, including her remix of The Kid Laroi’s hit track Without You with the 17-year-old Australian singer, himself. 

Miley has hosted and appeared on the NBC comedy sketch show a number of times through the years, and will serve as the musical guest when Elon Musk makes his debut with his first hosting gig on May 8.

The billionaire appeared in a commercial alongside Cyrus and Cecily Strong, in which they seemed to be determined to hint at imminent chaos on the program. 

‘Hi, I’m Elon Musk, and I’m hosting SNL this week with musical guest Miley Cyrus. And I’m a wild card, so there’s no telling what I may do,’ he said in a nod to the controversy surrounding his headlining act. 

Miley seemed determined to match up to Elon’s wild side, as she echoed his statement and proclaimed: ‘Same here. Rules? No thanks!’

Cecily, 37, noted: ‘It’s also the Mother’s Day show so your moms are going to be here,’ to which Miley replied, ‘Forget what I said.’

The Tesla and SpaceX founder added, ‘Fine, we’ll be good… ish.’
