A new twist on Big Brother Australia is set to rock the game.

With housemates already fiercely determined to win the $250,000 cash prize, the new contenders are sure to ruffle feathers and threaten to tear apart alliances.

Big Brother has 11 remaining housemates, after introducing eight intruders to an original house of 12 last month.

Of the new intruders, one is already known to fans.

Brenton Balicki, a 31-year-old account manager from Sydney, was one of the first housemates confirmed in a video trailer by Channel Seven in March.

‘I’m going to use every skill I’ve got, whether it’s charming them with cooking or charming them physically. There’s not a single challenge that’s going to break me,’ he said in the old clip.

In the trailer, there is also another man who is confident he’ll make it far in the competition as a ‘challenge beast’.

A pair of identical twins are also promoted, and claim: ‘We will divide and conquer the house. We are the ultimate double threat.’

It’s unclear if all six housemates will enter the compound at the same time, as one woman is seen sneaking into the house solo via a secret entrance.

Interestingly, Brenton appears to be friends with fellow Sydneysider and Big Brother housemate Katie Williams, despite not sharing any time in the house together.

Katie was involved in a blindside eviction on Wednesday night, before Brenton is due to enter the house as an intruder.
