Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis teams up with her mother Mary in advertisement

Martha Kalifatidis’ mother Mary has followed her daughter’s footsteps and is making waves in the world of reality TV. 

Big Brother Australia housemate Mary, 56, teamed up with Martha, 32, in a promotional video for ice-cream.

In the clip, shared to Instagram on Friday, Martha tunes out her mother’s ranting as she enjoys a Magnum ice-cream. 

She imagines herself in a comfortable bed, and then a bubble bath, as she eats the confection. 

Martha then comes back to reality and shoves the ice-cream in her mother’s face to shut her up. 

The influencer also starred in a video for the same brand alongside her boyfriend Michael Brunelli, 30, last week. 

Martha, who previously worked as a makeup artist prior to the show, now works as a full-time influencer. 

The couple are said to earn $108,000 per year, making them the franchise’s second most successful couple. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph recently, Martha refused to confirm how much she’s paid per Instagram post.

‘I feel like talking about money and figures is a little bit crass,’ Martha explained. 

‘I’d be embarrassed to say, not because it’s too low or high, but then people start to do the numbers.’ 

Martha and Michael, a former teacher-turned-fitness entrepreneur, met on the 2019 season of Married At First Sight. They are one of the show’s few success stories.
