The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew flaunts his long hair after ditching his ‘geeky’ show appearance

‘Having a good hair day’: The Bachelor star Matt Agnew proudly shows off his luscious long locks after ditching his ‘geeky’ show appearance

He soared to fame as the ‘geeky’ astrophysicist on the hunt for love in the 2019 season of The Bachelor.

But just two years on, and Matt Agnew is becoming more unrecognisable by the day – as he continues to grow his formerly short locks into a luscious long bob.

On Friday, the 32-year-old flaunted his transformed look in all its glory, with a close-up photograph of himself enjoying a ‘good hair day’.

‘A few big pimples popped up, but I was having a good hair day. So, y’know, swings and roundabouts,’ he wrote alongside the Instagram post.

In the photo, Matt was seen with a cheeky smile on his face, while his sun-kissed brunette locks gently cascaded down his chiseled face.

He wore a simple denim jacket for the pose, and stood in front of a scene of wildlife which made his piercing blue eyes truly pop.

Last month, Matt flaunted his new look for the first time on-screen during a surprise TV appearance on Today Extra.

Having clearly worked out over lockdown, Matt showed off his noticeably buff physique a crisp white shirt, which he unbuttoned twice to show a hint of chest.

Matt had appeared on Today to discuss NASA’s Ingenuity Mars Helicopter landing on Mars – but host David Campbell couldn’t help but ask about his new hairstyle towards the end of the chat.

‘Before you go, quickly, how long will you grow your hair?’ he cheekily asked.

‘I’m thinking I potentially go shoulder length,’ Matt laughed. ‘I’ve got past that really awkward uncomfortable stage, so I’ve got to just push.’

When asked if he was in a relationship, he swiftly responded with: ‘I am single.’

Matt chose chemical engineer Chelsie McLeod as his winner on The Bachelor, but their relationship didn’t last.

The couple confirmed their split two months after the finale airdate, and Chelsie later hinted it wasn’t her decision to end things.

Matt said at the time: ‘Our relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, everyday world as we had hoped.’

He hasn’t publicly dated anyone since the break-up, but Chelsie recently debuted her model boyfriend Ricki Dehaan.
