The daughter of rockers Suze DeMarchi and Nuno Bettencourt DOESN’T want to be a musician

The actress daughter of rockers Suze DeMarchi and Nuno Bettencourt reveals her childhood was surprisingly strict and normal – as she poses with her lookalike mother

BeBe Bettencourt is quickly making a name for herself as an actress, despite coming from a rock ‘n’ roll family.

The 25-year-old grew up with two iconic rock stars for parents – Australian Baby Animals singer Suze DeMarchi, 57, and Nuno Bettencourt, 54, an American musician best known for his time in the hit group, Extreme.

But despite her folks’ careers, BeBe insists her upbringing was surprisingly normal, and even a bit strict.

‘As a kid, people always assumed that my home life was rough because of the nature of what my parents did,’ she told Stellar this week.

‘Teachers pulled me aside and said, ‘If you need to talk to anybody about home, let me know.’

‘I’d think, what are you talking about? My mum is at home in her pyjamas drinking tea. My parents were quite strict because they know… They weren’t going to let me get up to what they did,’ she added.

Suze told the magazine she took time away from being on the road to raise her family.

‘That’s why I stopped [touring] for quite a long time, because I just wanted to be at home with my kids and Nuno was touring,’ the Rush You hitmaker said.

‘It’s a choice that you make. I missed it, but it was really good for me to be at home and to be available and to enjoy my children.
