Byron Baes: Glamorous musician St James joins the cast of Netflix reality show

The newest member of Netflix‘s controversial new reality show Byron Baes has been revealed as an aspiring pop-star known as St James.

The glamorous singer was spotted on-set earlier this month filming scenes for the program, which follows the lives of Bryon Bay’s hottest influencers.

Showcasing her svelte frame in a cropped beige top and tartan palazzo trousers, St James was spotted chatting to producers and posing for selfies on her phone.

She completed her on-trend ensemble with a pair of brown leather heels, while enhancing her complexion with a dramatic makeup look and liberally-applied fake tan.

Despite only boasting less than 5,550 followers on Instagram, St James looked every inch the social media maven as she strutted around set holding her phone in one hand.

At one stage, St James was seen carrying a musical keyboard down the footpath outside an instrument rental store – an indication that she will showcase her musical skills on the show.

According to onlookers, St James was seen returning the keyboard to the music store after filming had wrapped for the day.

Elsewhere, a female producer was seen approaching St James and giving her a hug, before helping the songstress attach a microphone to the back of her top.

Unlike most of the cast-members joining Byron Baes, St James is a relative newcomer to New South Wales’ exclusive coastal enclave – having recently relocated from the Gold Coast.

The unveiling of the cast comes after Netflix were recently forced to apologise to the stars of the show for painting them as ‘influencers’ and ‘hot Instagrammers’.

Netflix’s Director of Originals in Australia Que Minh Luu confirmed that the cast ‘hated’ a recent PR post describing the upcoming series.

‘They are artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, business owners, models, on a spiritual journey and more,’ Que wrote to her 7k followers.

‘Most of them hated the press release too! Did a lot of apologising that week. Fired the PR team (lol joking about firing, we’re all learning together).’
