Ariana Grande shocked fans when it emerged she secretly tied the knot with fiancé Dalton Gomez over the weekend.
The singer, 27, has kept her relationship with Dalton, 25, relatively low-key as her real estate beau prefers to keep out of the spotlight, despite boasting a Hollywood lifestyle to rival his pop superstar wife.
Although little is known about the couple’s relationship, it isn’t hard to see how the pair found each other, running in the incredibly elite social circles of Hollywood’s glitterati.
Who IS Dalton Gomez? Ariana Grande shocked fans when it emerged she secretly tied the knot with fiancé Dalton over the weekend, now here’s everything you need to know about him
Dalton was born and raised in San Bernardino, California and later moved to Los Angeles where he pursued a career in selling luxury real estate to the rich and famous.
A five-year veteran of the market, Dalton serves as the sole buyers agent for Aaron Kirman and previously served as the Director of Operations where he would run all day-to-day operations.
Billed as an ‘industry titan’ on the Aaron Kirman website, the agent boasts a list of star-studded clients that he’s helped, including Olympian Shaun White and Atlanta Hawks forward Chandler Parsons, who sold his Bel-Air home for $12.35 million.

Keeping a low-profile: Dalton has kept his Instagram private since the announcement of his relationship with the pop star, though she does follow him
Although it’s not clear how he met Ariana, a source previously told E! News that the pair ‘run in the same circle’, and the duo will have been linked by his work and mutual friends.
In October 2019, Dalton helped Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar purchase a Los Angeles pad for $7.5 million from seller Aaron Rosenberg, a music attorney whose clients include Ariana, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber.
In June the following year, Dalton’s boss, Aaron Kirman, represented Ariana as her real estate agent when she purchased a $13.7-million Hollywood Hills mansion.
Right at home: Dalton, 25, was born and raised in Southern California and lived in the San Bernardino area with his family before moving to Los Angeles
Ariana and Dalton also have mutual Hollywood friends, with Dalton sharing an Instagram Story of himself hanging out with Miley Cyrus in July 2017.
The real estate agent is also reported to have started his career as a dancer, which may also explain some of his celebrity links.
‘He used to be a dancer and they have many mutual friends,’ a source told E! News in March. ‘She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They’ve been spending a lot of one on one time at home.’
While his exact net worth is unknown, Life & Style magazine estimates that Dalton is worth $20 million through his work in the industry, which is although a staggering figure, pales in comparison to Ariana’s reported $180 million.
Big money: A five-year veteran of the market, Dalton serves as the sole buyers agent for Aaron Kirman and previously served as the Director of Operations
The property tycoon has sold listings ranging from $1.9 million to $12.5 million, which would wrangle him a hefty commission on top of his base salary.
If he were to make the standard two percent on each property listed, Dalton would be making anywhere from $38,000 to $250,000 in commission per listing based on the previous homes on his roster.
His wealth was proven through the engagement ring he picked up for Ariana, a stunning diamond and pearl band rumoured to be worth $100,000.
Ariana broke the news of their engagement on December 20, sharing rare photos of them together and her ring in a post captioned ‘forever n then some’.
Humble roots: The pair were first pictured in February at a gastropub in Los Angeles, where they arrived with a group of friends, but later peeled off to share a smooch in a booth
Dalton helped design the ring himself, turning to Solow & Co to craft a custom platinum band to complement the diamond and pearl jewellery they made.
A spokesperson for the brand told E! News: ‘They worked with Dalton on this. Dalton was very happy with it.’
The real estate agent approached jeweller Jack Solow to create the ‘very, very specific’ engagement ring he wanted.
Jack said in December: ‘Dalton was involved in every step of the selection process through FaceTime and Zoom since he was on the west coast and I was here in my office in New York.
‘He was very, very specific about what he wanted. He had very strong feelings about how he wanted this to look, a contemporary kind of way. It was his idea to do the diamond on an angle and he said to me we had to incorporate a pearl into the finished piece.’
Surprise: Ariana confirmed their relationship in May with the release of the music video ‘Stuck With U.’ In the video, she dances with Dalton in her bedroom
The engagement came just 10 months after the couple were first seen in public together in February 2020, yet the couple reportedly quarantined together during the pandemic.
The pair were first pictured in February at a gastropub in Los Angeles, where they arrived with a group of friends, but later peeled off to share a smooch in a booth.
At the time Dalton was billed as a ‘mystery man’, and Ariana had just recently been linked to Social House singer Mikey Foster.

Ariana then confirmed their relationship in early May with the release of the music video for her quarantined-themed duet with Justin Bieber, ‘Stuck With U.’
In the video, she cosies up to Dalton and even shares a sweet kiss with him while enjoying a lockdown dance in her bedroom.
Dalton has kept his Instagram private since the announcement of his relationship with the pop star, though she does follow him and his tattoo artist brother Dakota Gomez.
It’s unclear if Dakota is Dalton’s only sibling, but Ariana is famously close with her older brother Frankie Grande, who also follows the real estate broker on Instagram.
Look of love: Although she has not spoken of their romance, she has not been shy of sharing posts with Dalton whom she has called her ‘best friend’ and ‘favorite part of all the days’
Fast forward to May 2021, and it’s reported the couple wed near her home in Montecito, California.
‘They got married,’ a rep for the singer confirmed to PEOPLE. ‘It was tiny and intimate – less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.’
Despite the scaled-down celebrations, Ariana and Dalton are said to have exchanged the traditional ‘I dos,’ TMZ reported.
A source close to the Grammy winner confirmed to the outlet that the secret ceremony took place at her California home where her neighbours include the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Ariana is said to have bought Ellen’s former home, a unique 5,500-square-foot Tudor-style mansion which she paid $6.75 million for last August.
The source also claimed that the ceremony was ‘really just for them’ but it is unclear if it was an impulsive decision, or whether they had planned the big day.
Meanwhile another source has claimed to E! that the pair ‘always wanted an intimate ceremony,’ saying: ‘They decided to have the wedding this past weekend because their schedules are picking up and neither wanted to wait.’
‘They both agreed there was no point in waiting,’ the source went on.
The report claims that the ceremony was conducted in the backyard of Ariana’s home with hundreds of white and light pink florals.
‘It was beautiful but not over the top,’ the source told E!. ‘Ari wanted it to be simplistic and tasteful. All they cared about was having family there and to be able to enjoy the special moment together.’
The couple have not yet commented publicly on the nuptials, after sources claimed that the couple like to be private, as Dalton is not in the entertainment world like some of her previous boyfriends.
Past loves: Ariana got engaged to SNL star Pete Davidson in 2018 just weeks after getting together, however, the pair split just months later amid rumours of an ugly split
While nothing is known of Dalton’s past loves, his new wife is no stranger to whirlwind romances.
Ariana previously dated rapper Big Sean in 2014, dancer Ricky Alvarez in 2015, as well as the late rapper Mac Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, who she was with for two years.
Miller tragically passed away in September 2018 after a drug overdose at the age of 26, and the singer has mentioned missing the rapper in her music.

She then embarked on a wild relationship with SNL star Pete Davidson, after first spending time together in 2018, and told her tour manager that she was ‘going to marry that man.’
The pair got engaged just weeks after getting together, and Ariana released a track titled ‘pete davidson’ on her album Sweetner.
However, Ariana and Pete split just months later, with the funnyman deleting his Instagram account prompting rumors of an ugly split.
In a 2019 interview, Ariana told Vogue that the relationship with Pete was ‘never going to last.’

In April last year, Ariana praised Florence Pugh for taking a step back from talking publicly about her relationship with actor Zach Braff – and pledged to do the same with her own private life.
‘Beautifully worded and deeply appreciated,’ Ariana penned. ‘Sharing special, personal life things that make u happy on the internet can be truly traumatic.
‘I know I’ve taken a step back from doing so to protect my loved ones and myself but I just wanted to share this and let u know how perfectly u expressed this and how appreciated u are for doing so @florencepugh.’
