Pregnant Rachel Riley displays her blossoming bump in a leopard print jumpsuit

She’s expecting her second child with husband Pasha Kovalev later this year.

And Rachel Riley proudly displayed her blossoming bump on Tuesday as she headed home after a day of filming for 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown in Manchester.

The presenter, 35, looked radiant in the comfy ensemble as she donned a face shield to make her exit after a day of filming.

Rachel highlighted her blossoming bump in the form-fitting one piece with the classic leopard print as she strolled out of the Channel 4 studio.

The maths guru finished the look with simple cream trainers with her essentials in a black wheeled suitcase.

It comes as Rachel remains in the midst of a libel battle against a pro-Jeremy Corbyn blogger who called her a ‘serial abuser’ and blamed her for the death threats sent to a 16-year-old girl on Twitter. 

Rachel sued Mike Sivier, who published an article on his website Vox Political in January 2019 with the headline: ‘Serial abuser Rachel Riley to receive ‘extra protection’ – on grounds that she is receiving abuse.’

Sivier defended what he had published, arguing that it was ‘substantially true’, honest opinion, and a matter of public interest.

But a High Court judge ruled in favour of Rachel and struck out Sivier’s defences in January this year. Justice Collins Rice concluded that he had ‘no prospect’ of succeeding at a trial.

However Sivier launched an appeal against the ruling, and on Friday won the latest round in the legal battle, after three Court of Appeal judges ruled that Sivier’s public interest defence should be assessed at a trial.

In April Rachel announced that she was expecting her second child with husband Pasha, posting another playful Countdown conundrum hinting at her baby news.

With the titles spelling out the phrase ‘Fitt Riley’ Rachel asked her fans to guess what the correct word would be, with many quickly guessing it must be ‘Fertility’.

Rachel’s caption read: ‘A special teatime teaser! And your clure is… Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her…

‘And it’ll only get worse till Autumn! Happy, happy days for our little family @pashakovalev and future big sister Mave.’

Rachel then shared a selfie of her growing bump in the midst of filming for Countdown, writing: ‘Nice being able to breathe again at work! No more stomach holding in, phew.’
