Carrie Ann Inaba and Fabien Viteri look happy as they reunite in LA… one week after their split

The Talk’s Carrie Ann Inaba and her ex-boyfriend Fabien Viteri were seen reuniting in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon, one week after announcing their shock split.

Despite revealing she was feeling ‘sad’ and ‘uncertain of the future’ after ending their relationship, the duo were seen amicably chatting away as they walked side-by-side in an empty parking lot.

Both the former Dancing with the Stars judge, 53, and Viteri, 56, kept their mouths and noses covered under black face masks amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

For their outing, Inaba sported a structured, beige blazer, cropped light-wash jeans and a pair of white sneakers.

Meanwhile, her former flame wore an olive green t-shirt, denim bottoms and carried a large bootle of Fiji Water.

Last Wednesday, Inaba took to her Instagram story to reveal she is ‘single again’ and was ‘grateful for what was.’

‘Confused. Uncertain of the future. Sad. Hopeful. Trying to allow the emotions,’ she said of navigating her new relationship status.

The star added that she was ‘trying to be strong’ and allow herself the ‘space to cry’ and ‘grow.’

‘I will evolve. And I will survive this too. And I will honor that gift that it was,’ she continued. ‘Sometimes the things you thought were forever end up only being temporary. Finding the strength to accept that it’s over is enormously painful.’

‘Losing your friend … losing the hopes and dreams … your partner … the person you shared everything with .. your person … your love. It’s hard,’ she admitted.

The dancer didn’t pull any punches, adding she’s, ‘not going to fake that I am OK. I celebrate my emotions, because it tells me that I’m alive and that my heart loves deeply.’

‘It was real. True love. And I’m so sad it’s over. But I’m grateful it happened. So very grateful,’ she concluded.

She revealed in September 2020 that Viteri was from her neighborhood in Los Angeles, revealing she was in love.

‘I have fallen in love and I am now in a committed relationship. He’s older than I am, and he’s a wonderful human being,’ she said at the time.

‘And now, I understand how a relationship can work. He’s been so supportive and a mature adult ‘cause maybe sometimes I’m not, so that’s working really well,’ she added.

Inaba had previously dated Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev back in 2006, who is now engaged to Nikki Bella.

She dated Jesse Sloan for two years when he appeared on stage during Inaba’s appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly and proposed to her, which she accepted.

However, before the two could tie the knot, they ended their relationship in September 2012.

She was also engaged to actor Robb Derringer after just a few months of dating in December 2016, but they called it off in September 2017.
