Taylor Swift wears overalls as she asks fans to buy her new vinyl and stream her album Evermore

Taylor Swift looked blissful as she announced the release of the vinyl edition of her second surprise 2020 album, Evermore.

The superstar, 31, shared a post with her 160 million Instagram followers on Friday in which she is laying in the grass and holding the vinyl.

‘*Clover blooms in the fields/spring breaks loose/the time is near…* EVERMORE ALBUM VINYL IS OUT TODAY!! You can get it at your fav indie record store, Target, Walmart & Amazon ✨ and if you’re feeling even more generous, go ahead and stream it too! That would be cool!’ Taylor wrote in the caption.

Dreamy: Taylor Swift included two photos in her post on Friday. The first snap featured the songstress laying on her back in a meadow of lush green grass

She was wearing light blue denim overalls and a snug black tank top. The blonde beauty’s hair was braided into two plaits, with her bangs curled softly over her forehead.

Taylor crossed her arms behind her head and closed her eyes as she turned her head to the side with a slight smile.

Springtime: A copy of the vinyl could be seen next to Swift in the sun-dappled field. In the second image, the I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker gazed dreamily at the camera and smiled as she held the vinyl up while relaxing in the grass

In the cover art for the vinyl, Taylor is seen from the back staring at a forest of leafless trees in a barren field while the autumnal suns sets. She donnned a single-breasted, brown and orange Stella McCartney coat from the designer’s sustainable 23 Old Bond Street collection.

Her French braid has 31 turns, which is an apparent reference to the fact that the album was released two days before her 31st-birthday.

The vinyl retails for $24.99 at Target. Evermore is Taylor’s ninth studio album and the sister record to her earlier 2020 release Folklore. It came on December 11, 2020. Fans were delighted when the singer surprised them with two albums in 2020 and both were announced just hours before launch.

Meanwhile Taylor beamed into the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday night to accept the Pop Album Of The Year gong for her Folklore.

The singer-songwriter delivered her emotional acceptance speech from the comfort of a recording studio, sparking excitement over the possibility of another album.

‘Thank you so much for this award and for the honor. I have to say thank you to everyone at iHeart and everyone that supported Folklore,’ Swift began.

Folklore was released in July 2020 and was met with instant acclaim from critics and fans, alike. Evermore was also a critical and commercial success.

Taylor continued: ‘[Folklore] was an album I made in the very beginning of the pandemic, I started writing it, and I feel like it became sort of an emotional life raft for me to put all my feelings into.’

She went on to thank her Folklore and Evermore collaborators and ‘friends forever’ Aaron Dessner and Jack Antanoff, whose ‘creativity has completely changed [her] life.’

Swift also thanked photographer Beth Garrabrant who ‘took the photos for Folklore and really helped me create this world that I saw in my head.

To close out her acceptance speech, the Cardigan hitmaker spoke directly to her devout fanbase, thanking them for making Folklore ‘what it was.’

‘Because we all needed to escape into stories, whether it was movies or TV or film or music. And the fact that you chose this album, I am so honored by that.

‘And you really wrapped your arms around it. The way that someday we’ll get to wrap our arms around each other when we see each other again.

‘Giving you the biggest hug. Just for you. I love you,’ Taylor concluded.
