Kate Ritchie shares a sweet photo with her little girl Mae as they enjoy a night out at the movies  

Kate Ritchie may be a popular radio star, but on Saturday night she was every bit the doting mum.

Posting to her Instagram, the 42-year-old shared rare photos of herself alongside her daughter Mae, six, during a trip to the cinema at the Hoyts Entertainment Quarter in Sydney.

‘Bubba and Mumma movie date,’ the former Home And Away star proudly captioned a picture of the two attending the animated adventure film, Spirit Untamed. 

In one picture, the tot kissed her famous mum on her head as they posed for a selfie.

Kate also snapped an action shot of her daughter skipping around the around the precinct.

‘A movie making apples cool again #atleastfortoday #mylittlelucky,’ the Nova radio host added. 

Fans also caught a glimpse of how much the little girl resembles her mum in a picture of the two of them in front of the film’s official poster.

‘Truly lovely film… and even lovelier day together,’ she captioned the image. 

In February, Kate shared a glimpse of a beach outing on Instagram, posting a photo of herself with her little girl running along the shore in the background.

Kate shares Mae with her estranged husband, retired NRL player Stuart Webb.

The former couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Launceston, Tasmania, in 2010. They welcomed their daughter in August 2014.

New Idea reported last year the pair had been attending counselling to resolve their issues, but they weren’t able to save their marriage. 

She has since moved on with a younger man: 25-year-old businessman John Bell.
