A cosmetic surgery clinic has been slammed for offering women an extreme treatment to give them ‘fox eyes’ – with some accusing the company of turning hundreds into Spock from Star Trek.
MCR Aesthetics, based in Manchester, has been ridiculed online for its ‘glow-up’ packages which see womens’ eyebrows pulled scarily taught.
While the new trend for ‘fox eyes’, which sees supposedly invisible strings put in above the eyes to pull them upwards, is popular with celebrities like Bella Hadid, critics have claimed it is turning the women of Manchester into creepy zombie-like clones.
Followers of the brand on Instagram have been left baffled by the ‘alien’ before and after shots, with one writing: ‘Spockish – hard no.’

Critics have compared the makeovers to Spock – played by Leonard Nimoy – Bratz Dolls and the witches from 1993 flick Hocus Pocus.

One commented: ‘Those eyebrows are like she’s from another planet’ while another simply said: ‘She looks like an alien.’
One said in reference to the 90s film starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy: ‘Why oh why do this to your face shape it’s perfect as it was, it’s unnatural the point it looks like one of Hocus Pocus.’
Kristinapixiehare added: ‘Now they all look like blow up clones of each other.’
And another added; ‘Everyone’s cloned to look like Bratz dolls. Why!!!! They are all on a very slippery expensive slope, this will need repeating a lot, taking full advantage of people’s insecurities.’

Naveen Cavale, consultant plastic surgeon at the London-based Real Plastic Surgery clinic, urged: ‘Please be careful when considering such extreme procedures that could have permanent effects (or side effects) at a young age.
‘Find a GMC specialist doctor or NMC certified aesthetic nurse, practising out of a properly CQC regulated clinic, not a beauty parlour or spa.’
MCR Aesthetics did not respond to requests for comment.
