Phoebe Dynevor has assured fans of Bridgerton that Rege-Jean Page’s character The Duke Of Hastings will still be a part of season two, despite not appearing on screen.

The actor left fans disappointed when he revealed he won’t be starring in the follow-up season, after alluring legions of admirers after his turn as the amorous Duke in series one.

But co-star Phoebe, 26, told The Wrap: ‘I think he’ll definitely be referred to a lot. [The show will] just focus more on [her character Daphne’s] relationship with the Bridgerton Family.

Don’t panic! Phoebe Dynevor has assured fans of Bridgerton that Rege-Jean Page’s character The Duke Of Hastings will still be a part of season two, despite not appearing on screen

‘It’s definitely different. I’ve said it before, but I think the fans who have read the books and know the books are aware that every season will focus on a different sibling’s journey.

‘And it might be a little bit more of a – not shock, but like a surprise for the fans that love Daphne and Simon’s story so much. But I think that’s honestly the joy of the show in the long-term, getting to see these different love stories play out.

‘I think every season is just going to be really different and magical in its own way.

‘There’s not many TV series that do that, that focus on different characters every season. But I think every season is going to have its own magic, which is great.’

The actress has been busy filming season two of Bridgerton and her new project, The Colour Room, back-to-back.

Yet Phoebe ensured she took some time out from her busy schedule as she attended the launch of new jazz and cabaret bar The Parlour at The Ned on Wednesday.

She looked effortlessly chic in a blue Reformation Viviana floral print silk top as she posed for the cameras at the celebratory evening, held in honour of the exclusive restaurant launch.

She paired her ensemble with black skinny jeans and coral open toe heels, as she enjoyed performances from jazz musicians Tom Misch and Reuben James, who took to the stage on the night.

Phoebe, who’s dating US comedian Pete Davidson, 27, wore her auburn locks down for the evening, letting her bangs cascade around her face.
