Pregnant Louisa Lytton is forced to wear her dress ‘back to front’ to accommodate her baby bump

Louisa Lytton looked radiant on Friday when she enjoyed a date night with her fiancé Ben Bhanvra, admitting to fans she had been forced to wear her pretty patterned dress ‘back to front’ to better accommodate her baby bump as ‘nothing fits’.

Louisa – who is expecting her first child with Ben – cradled her stomach in a radiant photo shared on Instagram and wore a flower crown as the loved-up couple kicked off the weekend by attending a wedding show.

The EastEnders actress, 32, wrote in her caption that she and Ben ‘need to sort out their wedding’ and gushed about the fact that ‘date nights are back’.

She wrote in full: ‘Last night we went to a Wedding show . . With a bump, not what we had planned but it made it even more special! I had nothing to wear, nothing fits so wore a dress back to front to cover bump and pinned it so I didn’t flash.

‘Ben ate sushi and drank I had rice and watched. We saw our wedding band perform live, we just need to figure out the wedding now!

‘But at least we have the music, priorities right? Date nights are back and it feels so good.’

Louisa announced in March that she is expecting her first child with Ben.

She shared the announcement on Instagram, unveiling her baby bump in a heartwarming video.

It comes after the mother-to-be revealed she has cancelled her wedding to Ben.

Speaking to OK! Magazine in May, Louisa told how the pair had already been forced to cancel the ceremony twice thanks to the pandemic so now they are waiting until they are ‘ready’.

She said: ‘We’ve cancelled the wedding altogether now. We’ve decided to scrap the whole thing and start again with our plans.

‘We’re going to have the baby and focus on that and then get married once we’re ready.

‘We’d already postponed it twice and the wedding we were going to have is massive – we had nearly 200 people.’

Louisa added that the last year has ‘put everything into perspective’, adding that there are bigger things going on in the world.

The actress said Ben is ‘really chilled’ about becoming a father although he was shocked when she first told him she was pregnant.

Louisa was grateful that her fiancé was able to join her at both her 12 and 20 week scans and said she is praying that both Ben and her mother will be allowed in the delivery room with her when the baby is born.

The soap star previously told how she discovered she was pregnant the day after she had been out drinking tequila shots.

The actress was playing a Christmas Day game with family where people who lost had to have a shot.

Louisa said she was ‘violently sick’ that night which she doesn’t normally get after drinking alcohol and took a pregnancy test on Boxing Day.

Louisa revealed her co-stars Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater and James Bye, who plays Martin Fowler, were the first people on the EastEnders set she told she was set to become a mother.

Lacey is a mother-of-two and has already given Louisa some advice on becoming a mum with the actress saying Lacey has ‘really helped me’.

It comes after Louisa admitted she’d had a tough first trimester, as she said she had ‘never felt hunger like it’ and lamented ‘giving her baby a terrible start.’

Alongside a montage of images of her fast food, the actress penned the lengthy caption which explained the extent of her cravings and her emotional experiences.

She wrote: ‘First trimester. I’ve never felt hunger like it. I think every 5-10 minutes in fact on average I think I ate 56 Mc Ds and 74 pizzas a week. I couldn’t stop. Poor Ben would make a whole roast dinner on a Sunday…

‘Then I’d be queuing at a drive thru 30 minutes later. And CHEESE, I carried cathedral cheese bites around in my pocket at work to eat behind a set wall when no one was watching. The only way to describe it was a 24/7 7 day a week hangover…

‘The only thing that would subside the sickness was salt and ketchup. Now I know I’m lucky I could stomach food, I know some people simply can’t?…

‘Now I know I’m lucky I could stomach food, I know some people can’t? I felt such guilt, how could I give this baby such a terrible start.

‘I’m out the other side now, and I wish I just relaxed a bit more and didn’t cry into every portion of chips.’
