Sally is married to writer Tim Dynevor, 59, with the couple sharing three children- Bridgerton actress Phoebe, 26, son Samuel, 24, and 17-year-old daughter Hattie.

It comes after Phoebe reassured Bridgerton fans that Regé-Jean Page’s character The Duke Of Hastings will still be a part of season two, despite not appearing on screen.

The actor, 31, left fans disappointed when he revealed he won’t be starring in the follow-up season, after alluring legions of admirers after his turn as the amorous Duke in series one.

But Phoebe told The Wrap: ‘I think he’ll definitely be referred to a lot. [The show will] just focus more on [her character Daphne’s] relationship with the Bridgerton Family.

‘It’s definitely different. I’ve said it before, but I think the fans who have read the books and know the books are aware that every season will focus on a different sibling’s journey.

‘And it might be a little bit more of a – not shock, but like a surprise for the fans that love Daphne and Simon’s story so much. But I think that’s honestly the joy of the show in the long-term, getting to see these different love stories play out.

‘I think every season is just going to be really different and magical in its own way.’

The actress has been busy filming season two of Bridgerton and her new project, The Colour Room, back-to-back.

Bridgerton has been renewed for a third and fourth season with Netflix, and series two is based on Julia Quinn’s second Bridgerton novel The Viscount Who Loved Me.

The second season will shift the focus to Daphne’s brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), who will go on the hunt for a suitable bride when he meets sisters Kate and Edwina Sheffield, renamed Sharma for the show.

Phoebe has been filming The Colour Room alongside co-star Matthew Goode, where she plays Clarice, a vivacious young factory worker in the industrial British midlands during the 1920s.
