Jane Fonda at age 83 took to Instagram to share a strength training session ahead of an upcoming pipeline protest.

The actress and activist shared a pair of photos on Saturday showing her using elastic bands while working out at home.

‘Strength training from the #homegym with @NordicBodyCoach and gearing up to join the #TreatyPeopleGathering in Minnesota to #StopLine3,’ she wrote in the caption for her roughly 1.7 million followers.

Fonda wore a Fire Drill Friday in a white T-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt along with black leggings and black sneakers.

The activist added in the caption: ‘Learn more about the gathering here: https://treatypeoplegathering.com @FireDrillFriday #WorkoutForThePlanet @HonorTheEarth #StopLine3 @CraftedLA’.

The Coming Home star was referencing protests surrounding the Line 3 Pipeline Replacement Project in Minnesota by Canada-based Enbridge Energy.

Opponents of the project accuse Enbridge of building a new pipeline corridor through untouched wetlands and three Anishinaabe communities have filed legal challenges to the pipeline’s construction.

Organized protests from June 5 to June 8 have been planned in Northern Minnesota to raise awareness and gain action from the Biden administration.

Fonda has a long history of activism dating back to the 1960s with her opposition to the Vietnam War.

She previously supported the Alcatraz Island occupation by by American Indians in 1969 to raise awareness of US government treaty violations and the move for greater Indian sovereignty.

In 2017, Fonda criticized former President Donald Trump for his mandate allowing construction to resume on the controversial North Dakota Pipelines without consent from Native American tribes affected by the project.

Fonda also has been a staunch advocate of civil rights, the feminist movement and also supported Huey Newton and the Black Panthers in the early 1970s.

The New York City native won the Cecil B. DeMille Award honoring her career in entertainment in February at the 78th Golden Globe Awards.
