Princess Eugenie shared a sweet message of congratulations to her ‘dear cousins’ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the birth of their daughter Lilibet Diana.
Eugenie, 31, shared an Instagram post in honour of Lilibet hours after the news of her birth was made public.
The princess, who enjoys a close relationship with Harry and Meghan, shared the Sussexes’ black and white pregnancy announcement photo with the message: ‘Congratulations dear cousins. We couldn’t be happier for you all.’
It came after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Queen and Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall shared their own social media posts.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said they were ‘delighted’ by the arrival of baby Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
They wrote: ‘We are delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.’
A source has told Us Weekly the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also ‘sent Lilibet a gift’.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall posted: ‘Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana. Wishing them all well at this special time.’
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: ‘The Queen, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.’
Lilibet Diana, named after her great-grandmother the Queen and grandmother Princess Diana, was born on Friday at 11.40am at a Californian hospital.

It is not known when relatives on her father’s side of the family will first meet the young royal.
Eugenie and Harry enjoy a particularly close relationship and the princess knew Meghan before the then actress met the prince. The pair have mutual friends including Misha Nonoo.
Indeed Eugenie and her then boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, were at a party in Soho House in Toronto in 2016 when Harry and the Suits star were first seen together.
